Gearlab launches 3 all new colors on the world’s best selling carbon fiber Greenland paddle - Kalleq. Gearlab is always looking to add more fun and excitement to your kayaking experience, this includes exploring new color options to fit your unique personality and aesthetics.

The 3 new colors are: Metallic Purple, Metallic Green and Arctic Crimson. This season each color also features a special Gearlab Ambassador story.

Amber Champion on the cover is the youngest female holding a Level 4 instructor certificate in Canada. "Part of my drive to get to the top was creating opportunities for more young people to get on the water. And also for more women to have female coaches so they could keep pushing themselves at higher levels and be able to run all women's courses." she said.

Gearlab resonates with Amber’s vision and has been working together with her to embrace more female padders since 2020.

Besides kayaking I love SUP surfing & playing with my partner's dog Apollo.

I like winter conditions for how dynamic they are but I don’t like being cold. (laugh emoji)

A beaked whale or a great white.

Modern or passionate or fun (that’s hard).

Japan & Papua New Guinea.

What’s your fav color in this 2023 new palette?
I love the matte green as it’s my favourite colour but I’m more excited about the 2023 Arctic Crimson. I think it adds a really fun aspect to paddling a Greenland and would make people look twice.

Favorite Gearlab accessory (besides paddle)?
I’m obsessed with my gear wrap. I love the drainage- the ease and how sleek it looks.
