The center capsule storage is designed for easy access to a water bottle, or bilge pump. Two expandable mesh pockets on the side for other gadgets. We tested three full size energy bars, one GPS, pair of sunglasses, and a pair of gloves. Thoughtfully positioned anchor points throughout the bag allows even more versatility.

A Minimalist dream

Was so excited to receive this deck bag, it far exceeded my expectations. As a Greenland roller enthusiast I didn’t want anything that would get in my way of doing some of my most technical rolls. I didn’t even notice any drag while performing these rolls. I’m extremely happy and impressed. Gearlab nailed it with this bag. I shared a picture of a little trick I used my deck bag for on the Facebook page Gearlab paddling club. I’ll be taking this on my paddling adventures near and far.

Perfect for the light traveler

This new deckbag works well for the light traveler, the paddler who wants to keep just a few things available on the deck. It fits a water bottle perfectly, with straps that adjust for the different diameter of bottles. It is the tether for my GPS that makes this pack ideal for keeping my Garmin GPS attached, even under difficult conditions. The low profile is also quite nice as an option when filming from the deck. The quick release attachments are also a great improvement for winter use. I can attach and detach it without having to remove my winter gloves.
