Love at First Paddle!

I've wanted a DeckPod 2 for a while, now... finally decided to treat myself. Took it out this evening for the first time. LOVE! It connected to my Tsunami 145 quickly, securely. It held my paddle float, bilge pump, drink, first-aid kit, and VHF radio. Plus, it just LOOKS GORGEOUS!

And when I landed, everything important came with me in one sweet package!

The attachment points alone sold me. Very innovative and logical. Like the storage sleeves. Very nicely made.

awesome product.. fitment was perfect on my sea kayak.. it held my bilge pump, paddle float, gps, a sandwich, two bags of chips and other misc snacks, plus a bottle of water.. 10 stars on this product! highly recommend it!

Essentials Within Arm's Reach

I recently purchased the Deck Pod2 from Gearlab on Amazon and love the product. This is a great size that keeps all my essential gear - compass, trip maps, phone, water bottle, binoculars and snacks- handy without having to release my spray skirt to search inside my kayak while crossing open water. I also love the quick-connect feature that allows easy removal when we make a beach stop for lunch. My only regret is that I didn't consider the Deck Pod Pro option since I've recently begun using a GoPro camera.

Deck Pod 2, purchased through local retailer

I used this on my first wilderness kayak trip and it exceeded my expectations. The zippered pouch held maps, sunglasses, snacks, SOS beacon, and there was room for more. I kept my pump and water in the outside sleeves. Shout out to Olympic Outdoor Center in Port Gamble, WA, for selling quality merchandise.
