Course 1 | Greenland Paddle Strokes - 4 Hours

Come learn to use your Gearlab paddle in one of the most beautiful places on the planet with International kayak instructor, James Manke. Learn a proficient low angle Greenland paddle stroke along with various blended strokes to help improve your overall power. This is a great course for those learning to use a Greenland paddle. Gearlab paddles will be available for this course.
Winter courses will be held in the inner harbour of Tofino or Ucluelet area where there is protection from the larger winter swells.
Course 2 | Introduction to Kayak Surfing - 2 Days

Come learn to use your Gearlab paddle in the surf zone in one of Canada’s best surf locations with International kayak instructor, James Manke. Gain confidence in rough water and learn the basics to surfing in a sea kayak. This course is intended for new paddlers looking to venture into rough water. Gearlab paddles will be available for this course.
Winter course locations and exact time of day we meet may vary in the Tofino area depending on the swell direction and tides. This way we are picking ideal learning conditions.
